Almost six months into the pandemic in Yemen, the BBC was the first international outlet able to enter and report on how COVID-19 has impacted the city of Aden. While fighting grueling battles, including the ongoing war in the north, the government was not prepared for a pandemic. Only one hospital was open because Dr. Zoha stayed to help. That Girl Friday is the Lionheart of Aden, showing courage and compassion in the face of unthinkable obstacles.
